ATF Gaia: giving companies the means to contribute more directly to disabled people integrating back into society through having a job.
In August 2008, ATF Gaia received approval as a disability-friendly company. It is now able to benefit from measures taken by the government. The law provides in effect that every private or public company with more the 20 employees must include at least 6% of persons with impaired capabilities. Companies failing to comply with this regulation must pay contributions to AGEFIPH (private sector) or FIPHFP (public sector). But the law says that services provided by disabled-friendly companies are deductible from this contribution.
ATF Gaia is the practical result of the vision of ATF’s founders to create a socially responsible company while focusing on performance.
ATF acts as a real main contractor for its customers projects, whether these are companies disposing of old equipment or equipment manufacturers. From collection to recycling in compliance with regulations, all the steps to manage and recover IT assets being disposed of are coordinated by specialist teams at ATF Gaia, made up of or supervised by disabled workers. Demonstrating its support on a daily basis, ATF Gaia also invests in the local plan toimprove the comfort of its workers in respect of transport, housing, etc. through an active partnership with local authorities.
